TRIP PRESENTATION

An epic journey towards the Tropic of Cancer.

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure! This motorcycle journey takes you from the vibrant port of Tangier in northern Morocco to the vast desert landscapes of the south, passing through historic cities, breathtaking coastal roads and territories where the horizon seems endless. Our destination? To cross the imaginary Tropic of Cancer, less than 300 km from the border with Mauritania. Along the way, you will feel the gradual change of scenery – from the bustling medinas to the grandiose expanses of the Sahara. Every kilometre will bring a new discovery, every bend a new story. This is not just a journey; it is a transformative experience that will take you to the heart of the adventure!

TRAVEL ITINERARY

DAY 1 – 14/09/2025 – TANGIER

The adventure begins with the traditional ferry crossing from Tarifa to Tangier. Just one hour separates old Europe from the vibrant African continent.
After taking care of the border formalities and exchanging euros for dirhams, the Moroccan currency, you head to the hotel.
The first dinner is a moment of conviviality, where the group comes together and begins to feel the excitement of the journey ahead.

DAY 2 – 09/15/2025 – EL JADIDA

After a hearty breakfast, you begin the first major stage heading south, heading to El Jadida, also known as Mazagão, a city that preserves its Portuguese heritage.
The route will be long and, to optimize time, we will travel along the highway. Along the way, there are several opportunities for short breaks and a free lunch.
Arrival in El Jadida will be in the late afternoon, allowing time for a brief exploration of the city before dinner at the hotel.

DAY 3 – 16/09/2025 – AGADIR

The day starts early, leaving the hotel for Agadir.
In the morning, a short motorway connection of around 70 km, and then continue along the national road to Essaouira, or Mogador, a city full of history and with a strong Portuguese presence.
Here, you can take a break for lunch and explore its walls and fishing port.
In the afternoon, the journey continues along the coast along a scenic national road until you reach Agadir, where a refreshing dinner awaits you at the hotel.

DAY 4 – 09/17/2025 – TAN -TAN PLAGE

After breakfast, continue south, always along the coast, until you reach Sidi Ifni, a city known for its beaches and impressive rock arches sculpted by erosion.
From this point onwards, the landscape begins to change radically: you enter the vast spaces of the South, and the city of Guelmim, known as the "Gateway to the Desert", welcomes you to the Sahara.
After a free lunch, the journey continues through the desert until you reach a small, picturesque seaside town, where dinner awaits you at the hotel.

DAY 5 – 09/18/2025 – LAAYOUNE

Today the road takes you to the heart of the Moroccan Sahara, with long straights surrounded by desert landscapes that stretch as far as the eye can see.
The city of Laayoune, the capital of this region, will be the destination of the day. Along the way, there will be stops for rest and free lunch.
At the end of the day, you arrive at the hotel, where dinner will be waiting for you.

DAY 6 – 19/09/2025 – DAKHLA

The journey continues south, penetrating deeper and deeper into the Sahara.
The destination of the day is Dakhla, a unique coastal city, located on a peninsula that juts out into the Atlantic Ocean.
The route is marked by a feeling of immensity and isolation, with landscapes of dunes and arid plains.
Arrival in the late afternoon and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 7 – 20/09/2025 – DAKHLA (Day of rest)

After several intense days on the road, this is a day to relax.
Dakhla offers paradisiacal beaches and a perfect environment to relax and recharge your batteries.
You can take the opportunity to explore the city, do water activities or simply enjoy the hotel and the landscape it offers.
Dinner at the hotel.

DAY 8 – 09/21/2025 – LAAYOUNE

After a leisurely breakfast, we hit the road again, beginning our journey back.
You will cross the desert again, but this time with a new perspective on the landscape.
The monotony of the return journey is broken by strategic stops for rest and a free lunch.
Arrival in Laayoune at the end of the day and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 9 – 09/22/2025 – GUELMIM

We continue north, but to vary the route, a small change will be made to the route to provide a new perspective of the trip.
The road to Guelmim is long, but full of contrasting landscapes.
Free lunch on the way and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 10 – 23/09/2025 – TATA

This day promises to be one of the most authentic experiences of the trip.
After breakfast, you leave Guelmim to venture further into the desert.
The road takes you to Tata, a town in the heart of the Moroccan Sahara, surrounded by mountains and oases. Here, the atmosphere is truly different, with traditional villages and arid landscapes that take your breath away.
Free lunch and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 11 – 24/09/2025 – MARRAKECH

Get ready for an exciting day! After so many kilometres on straight roads, today the journey takes on another dimension as we cross the High Atlas.
The route will be full of curves and spectacular mountain landscapes.
Arrival in Marrakech in the late afternoon will allow some time to explore the city before dinner at the hotel.

DAY 12 – 25/09/2025 – TANGIER

The last day of the trip in Morocco is dedicated to the return journey to Tangier, following the motorway.
Arrival in the mid-afternoon, allowing time for a visit to the city's medina. Dinner at the hotel.

DAY 13 – 26/09/2025 – RETURN TO PORTUGAL

After breakfast, we head to the port of Tangier, where you will complete the boarding formalities for the ferry back to Tarifa.
The adventure is over, but the memories of this unforgettable trip are now beginning to form and we guarantee that they will last forever.
